What We Do

MILITARY COOPERATION BRANCH (MILCOOP).

Responsible for one of NATO’s core task, Cooperative Security, LANDCOM conducts military cooperation activities with partner nations and assigned forces. We engage with partners to identify training gaps and exercise oportunities to enhance collective defence and support to the Accession and Integration process through consultations and mentoring. Key support includes the provision of Mobile Training Teams (MTTs) and Expert Staff Meetings (ESMs). It coordinates and directs NATO evaluations of partner units and executes Operational Capability Concept Evaluation and Feedback (OCC E & F) activities as required. It supports the reinforcement of cooperation with all operational partners, including Partnership for Peace (PfP), Mediterranean Dialogue (MD), Istanbul Cooperation Initiative (ICI) and Partners Across the Globe (PAtG)
