During this time, Ukrainian Armed Forces conducted a Level 1 Self-Evaluation Level of a Ukrainian Air Assault Company within the framework of the NATO Operational Capabilities Concept Evaluation and Feedback Programme (OCC E&F).
LANDCOM’s Lt. Col. Tino Kohlmann, a NATO senior monitor, and LTC Olaf Thase, a NATO junior monitor, both of the German Army, monitored the evaluation and ensured the outcome of the evaluation with respect to the OCC E&F programme. LANDCOM reinforced the Ukrainian evaluation team with German Army Master Sgt. Peter Rudolph and Canadian Army Sgt. First Class Gregory Slate.
The aim of the OCC E&F Programme is to improve the levels of interoperability and operational capabilities of partner units in order to enhance the operational relationship between the Alliance and
partners contributing to NATO-led operations and to the NATO Response Force (NRF).
