11th LANDCOM Corps Commanders Conference

The 11^thLANDCOM Corps Commanders’ Conference was held in Valencia, Spain from 17-18 October. Hosted by NATO Rapid Deployable Corps Spain (NRDC-ESP), the conference brought together commanders and representatives from all of the NATO rapid deployable Corps and included presentations from General Salvatore Farina, Commander Allied Joint Force Command Brunssum, and General Curtis Scaparrotti, Supreme Allied Commander Europe.

The intent of the conference was to bring together key leaders and discuss new command and control ideas and concepts and how they can be implemented through exercises and training events. Some of the other highlights of the conference included a CIS Command and Control tactical demonstration, presentations on NATO’s enhanced Forward Presence mission (eFP), and breakout sessions specifically for the commands Political Advisors (POLAD) and the Commanders Senior Enlisted Leaders (CSEL).
