LANDCOM Deputy Commander Change of Responsibility Ceremony

IZMIR – Allied Land Command’s deputy commander, Lt. Gen. Ed Davis, transferred responsibility of this position to Lt. Gen. Paolo Ruggiero in a ceremony held at the LANDCOM headquarters Jan. 14.

Lt. Gen. Ruggiero is career field artillery officer from the Italian Army. Graduating from the Italian Military Academy, he began commissioned service in 1977. Ruggierio has held varying positions of leadership with Chief of Staff and then as Deputy Commander for Transition of the NATO "Resolute Support” mission as his two most recent assignments.

Lt. Gen. Davis will assume duties as Governor and Commander-in-Chief of Gibraltar.
