IZMIR – The Allied Land Command (LANDCOM) G7 office hosted a conference at its headquarters in Izmir April 6-7, 2016. Conducted semiannually, the conference brings together the NATO Land Training and Exercise community from the nine Graduated Readiness Forces – Land (GRF-L) as well as from the majority of NATO Command Structure (NCS). Its primary aim was to solidify the Mutual Training Support. Additionally the participants had a chance to participate in workshops dedicated to Trident Javelin 17 exercise which will be LANDCOM’s certification exercise.
The conference also provided an opportunity to introduce the G7 counterparts from Multinational Division Southeast (MND-SE) and South-Eastern Europe Brigade (SEEBRIG), the two newest members to the G7 community.
