Turkish Victory Day Commemoration Ceremony

Allied Land Command Deputy Commander Lieutenant General Ed Davis attended the 93rd anniversary of the War of Independence, commemorating August 30th Victory Day, held in Republic Square. After the wreath laying session in the statue of Ataturk in the square,

The square was filled with Veterans, military personnel, government representatives, non-governmental organizations and the general public. The entire city was decorated the flags hanging from the buildings commemorating the Independence War as well as its founder Mustafa Kemal Ataturk, who was the supreme commander to this victory.
