The Host Nation conducted Recognition Ceremony in LANDCOM

Izmir - LANDCOM Headquarter's Host Nation, Turkey, conducted a Recognition Ceremony as a result of their internal inspection of the Turkish military personnel assigned there, January 20, 2015.  The inspection involved shooting, physical training, and a full administrative review. During the ceremony, the co-located national units in General Vecihi Akin Garrison were formally introduced to Lt. Gen. John W. Nicholson, Commander of Allied Land Command.
 
Turkish Host Nation Personnel who distinguished themselves in training, shooting, sports, and other disciplines were recognized by the LANDCOM Command Team, which included Commander, Lt. Gen. (USA) Nicholson, the Deputy Commander, Lt. Gen.(GBR) Ed Davis, Chief of Staff, Maj. Gen. (TUR) Ugur Tarcin, and Command Senior Enlisted Leader, Chief Warrant Officer (CAN) Daniel Moyer. After the ceremony, Lokma, a traditional Turkish Dessert of Lokma was served to the attendees.
