Resolute Support Mission Commander Visits LANDCOM

Lieutenant General John W. Nicholson, Commander Allied Land Command (LANDCOM) hosted General John F. Campbell, Commander of the Resolute Support Mission (RSM) and US Forces-Afghanistan for a visit on 14 MAY 2015. Although only in Izmir for a half-day visit, GEN Campbell was able to personally brief the Command Group, the majority of Deputy Chiefs of Staff, Senior National Representatives (SNR), and Assistant Chiefs of Staff (ACOS). His brief provided the LANDCOM Command and Staff with a senior commander's perspective regarding the RSM, measurable progress in Afghanistan, and the challenges facing the Alliance to provide trained and deployment-ready personnel. GEN Campbell was accompanied by several key members of his staff during his visit, including his Commander's Advisory Group (CAG), his Executive Offcier and other leaders from his personal staff.
