NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg presents awards to LANDCOM personnel
On April 21st 2015, NATO Allied Land Command (LANDCOM) hosted a meeting of the North Atlantic Council, the principal political decision-making body within NATO. It brings together the representatives of all 28 member countries to discuss policy or operational questions requiring collective decisions. In sum, it provides a forum for wide-ranging consultation between members on all issues affecting their peace and security.

The Commander’s Commendation Award and Sergeant Yahya Award were presented to some personnel from the host nation in recognition of the Turkish Armed Forces’ contributions to LANDCOM, as well as to other personnel in the Headquarters.
