LOYAL DEXTEROUS IN DISKO - HIT

From 7 September 15 to 11 September 15 Disko - Hit facilities, in Izmir Turkey, held the Exercise Loyal Dexterous, Rehearsal Of Concept Drill (ROC Drill) for the Exercise Trident Juncture 15 (TRJE15). Loyal Dexterous is one of the main training events in the way to TRJE15. TRJE will be the largest exercise in the recent history of NATO in which more than 30 000 troops will involve.

The main objectives of this ROC Drill are:

To deploy Local Operations Control (LOPSCON) Staff into a fixed establishment.
To conduct a 24 Hrs LOPSCON Battle Rhythm in a compressed time frame of 12 Hrs.
To validate and refine all respective, LOPSCON internal processes, procedures and interaction with other stakeholders
To validate and refine procedures and reports in accordance to Land Exercise Controller (LAND EXCON).
To validate and refine procedures for visitors handling and Public Media Ops.
To validate and refine procedures for Real Live Support (RLS) and Host Nation Support (HNS) coordination.

Some of the augmentees who will support LANDCOM during TRJE15 also involved in this training. On Thursday September 10th the LANDCOM Chief of Staff, Major General Salih Sevil also attended the Exercise.
