Lieutenant General Richard Rossmanith, Commander of Multinational Joint Headquarters Ulm, visits LANDCOM in TRJE15

On October 21, Lieutenant General (LTG) Richard Rossmanith, Commander of Multinational Joint Headquarters (MN JHQ) Ulm*, visits LANDCOM facilities established for the Exercise TRJE15 in San Gregorio. LANDCOM has oversight of four Local Operational Control (LOPSCON) sites in Spain, Portugal, and Italy, Which monitor the Land Operations in these three countries.

Greeting by Major General Salih Sevil, Officer Directing the Exercise Chief of Staff (ODE COS ) for Land Domain of Trident Juncture 15, he was briefed about LANDCOM OPFOR (Opposing Forces) and Umpire roles during TRJE15.

After visiting the staff on LOPSCON and Exercise Control (EXCON), General Rossmanith left LANDCOM facilities.

 

*In its role as headquarters coordinating the exercise, the MN JHQ Ulm under the command of LTG Rossmanith coordinates the German forces during this NATO exercise by means of its "Staff Element Exercise Coordination".
