LANDCOM hosts Loyal Asclepius 2015

Allied LANDCOM GMED Division executed a three day Medical Conference and Workshop "Loyal Asclepius 2015” from 30 June-02 July with the representation of SHAPE JMED, NSHQ JMED, 1 GNC GMED, ARRC GMED, NRDC-TR GMED, NRDC-GR GMED, Gulhane Military Medical School`s Dept. of Military Health Services and Medical CBRN, TUR- Aegan Army GMED and Izmir Military Hospital.

The conference was the primary coordination event for land centric medical issues in 2015 focusing on communication and collaboration with the GRF (L)s, higher HQ`s guidance, processes and procedures. The aim of Loyal Asclepius was to focus on collaboration within medical planning process from the Comprehensive Preparation of Operating Environment (CPOE) right through to the Direction and Guidance provided to subordinate formations. During the conference there were a number of action points identified which could be summarized as more collaborative medical planning process, support for the medical divisions during exercises, development and use of a shared documentation and medical repository and the ability for end users to influence doctrinal changes.
