LANDCOM hosts 4th Gender Advisor Conference

SHAPE conducted the fourth ACO Gender Advisor Conference from 24, to 25 March 2015 at HQ LANDCOM, Izmir. ACO Gender Advisor, Ms Charlotte Isaksson, chaired the conference.

The aims of the conference were:

a. To improve the collaborative work within the broadened gender community in continuation of the outcome of the previous conferences.

b. To review the work with capturing of Lessons Identified as well as best practices and with implementation of Gender Perspective in Exercises.

c. To coordinate the work on the Gender Functional Planning Guide and the Military Guidelines on the Prevention of and Response to Conflict Related Sexual and Gender Based Violence.
