DEPLOYEX TO DISKO - HIT, ALWAYS READY AND CAPABLE TO DEPLOY

LANDCOM carried out a Deployment Exercise to DISKO - HIT. LANDCOM used this DEPLOYEX to demonstrate Headquarters’ ability to deploy to an alternative HQ location, and critically to enable divisional personnel to familiarize themselves with the site, layout and infrastructure of DISKO - HIT. The event successfully took place in 17 June 2015.

LANDCOM personnel got familiarized with DISKO - HIT infrastructure, communications equipment and general capabilities. Divisions were able to identify and review real estate and critical layout designs within DISKO - HIT as well as an initial test of connectivity means.

Also Base Support Group (BSG) was trained on deploying LANDCOM personnel from the General Vecihi Akin Garrison to DISKO – HIT site.
