Cdr, Turkish Land Forces Commander Visits LANDCOM

IZMIR – Turkish Land Forces Commander, General (Gen.) Salih Zeki Çolak, Aegean Army Commander, Gen. Abdullah Recep, and Chief of Personnel, Major General (Maj. Gen.) Ömer Şevki Gençtürk paid a visit to LANDCOM in the 01st of December 2015. General Officers were welcomed by Lieutenant General John W. Nicholson, LANDCOM Commander, and Maj. Gen. Salih Sevil, LANDCOM Chief of Staff.

Gen. Çolak and Gen. Recep had an office call with LT. Gen. Nicholson and Maj. Gen. Sevil. The main focus of their meeting was the importance of the relationship between LANDCOM and Turkish Army. During the office call, Gen. Çolak was informed about some of the activities and achievements of LANDCOM. Gen. Çolak and Gen. Recep noted the importance of LANDCOM to the Alliance.

It was a pleasure for LANDCOM to host such distinguished visitors which provided a great opportunity to exchange views and get the Turkish Army’s support to LANDCOM.
